I know that I have been pretty lazy as of lately of posting useless things for you guys to read. I have no excuse other than just not caring to or making the time. Fortunately, I have taken a few pics throughout this month of April and if you care to look, click here. I have not added catchy phrases to them but I will try to elsborate as much as possible through out here.
Good Friday was a beautiful day that was spent hiking on the outskirts of Durango. I think you should be able to pick out those photos easily. Easter was a great joy, from watching Jake and Hannah hunt for easter eggs, spending time with the family and having so much food prepared that it seemed like Thanksgiving.
Also thanks to Cody with many many things, you will also see the new road bike I purchased. It sure is a step up from the "just good enough" bike I purchased first. It rides like a million dollars and I almost spent that much on it. Oh well, you only live once so you might as well enjoy it while you can.
Also, It is a little difficult to top defrosting/deicing your freezer on a Saturday afternoon. So that is why I did it, at least that is what I am telling myself. I also purchased new tires for my truck but it was an overdue purchase. I could have gone with a cheaper tire but I figured since I had already spent so much already, why not continue like "Money ain't a thing".
I appologize for taking so long to ramble again. I will try not to let it be so long next time. See ya!

Why is that?
For me growing up, my mind was often filled with dreams of growing up and having money to spend however I saw fit. One of those dreams was to buy all the candy, soda, chips and snacks that might heart desired. Or that my stomach could handle. I think my nephew "Big Jake" clearly puts my word's into perspective with this picture.
Well those day's have been available for more than a decade. I really have yet to start living that dream from childhood. Don't get me wrong, I do have my moments of indulgence but I do manage to keep them under control for the most part. I am an absolute fan of all those wonderful goodies that do such a great job of rotting out my teeth. I am a frequent teeth brusher, so why do you think I refrain from the pleasure that is to be had?
It may be partly to how I was raised. Then again there is a little rebel in each of us as to how we were raised and also to some of our parent's words.
Ahhh Pure Sweetness! (I even have the shirt to go with it!)

Do you concur???
That I need a hair cut? Take a look at these and let me know.
On another note, I am not very good with this weather thing. On my previous post it was all filled with sun and warm temperatures. I know this is New Mexico and we have some whacky weather from time to time. However, we went from sunny and 70 on Wednesday, to waking up to this on Friday morning.
And in true New Mexico fashion, none of it stuck around and we were back up to 75 on Sunday afternoon. It's a short work week and I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend. No idea how I will spend it though, maybe go find a barber since my previous one moved to Texas.
I think that the whacky weather here is turning people into whacko's as well. Well maybe just at least the Governor. How can you see signing a bill like this into law? My question is, "How in the world do you learn to prescribe doses for that?" I doubt they teach that in pharmaceutical school but then again it wouldn't surprise me.
