Seperation

I was going to include this in the post right under this one. However I could not disgrace Shawn in that manner with those dopers.

Congratulations to Shawn aka NASCAR on his California Masters 3k State Title. I know he does all of his work and training au natural. Here is what what someone should really look like when wearing yellow...

Worse than last year

Is what this Tour has turned into all within a matter of 2-3 days. I really feel sorry for those "innocent" riders that are caught up in the mess and forced to drop out due to their team removing themselves from the race. I really don't know why I am giving any mention to these cheaters that have totally disgraced the sport worse than anyone previous. What a F***ing Joke! What I really would like to know is the Rest of the Story on this guy.

Where is Paul Harvey when you need him?

That's Familiar

I can remember doing something like this over in Europe as well. It's quite the rush and not in the good way either. There is nothing like knowing there is no way avoiding it and thinking this is going to hurt...I need to go get my picture scanned so I can show you the carnage I unwillingly acquired.

I love dog's and this may be mean but with so many strays over in Europe, I hope that canine met his fate...
I don't know how fast Burghardt was going but I am sure it did not feel good no matter what the speed was.

Blog Roll

I came across these links today and was surprised with the events happening out there. What do you think?

First off, Is when that I have experienced first hand and I MEAN FIRST HAND. Living in Naples was quite the experience! I remember Juan and I were riding from Gricignano to Capodichino one time and on the side of the road was a huge pile of trash engulfed in flames. It somewhat was stretching out into the street as well. We stopped before it and came up with a plan to make a sprint through the smoke and try to avoid the flames in the process. Well as we clear the inferno much to our surprise was a car that had trash piled up with it and it was burning too! After the fact though we talked about it and figured there was no reason for us to be surprised. This was Napoli of course. Here it is again...

On another story, here is one that makes me happy to be living in a small town. Can you imagine paying that much for that?? I guess everything has a "price". Also, If you have the money why not do it?

Maybe I should take Janes Addiction's advice and accept that Nothing's Shocking.

Where do I start?

Well things have been quite the whirlwind of events since my last post.

Last night my first love went away to a new home. It was a great stead and hated to let it go but at least it will do more than sit and collect dust as was the case at my abode. I rode her one last time before leaving it and it almost felt as good as the first time I ever threw my leg over her. I have to give serious props to Cody and Shawn for the "devirginization".

On another happier note, I got a new job and couldn't be any happier to be starting something new. The serious pay increase sure helps out alot as well. I am starting on the 23rd and have yet to give my notice. It would help if my supervisor was in the office though, so I could do it.

My 4th of July was great again as it always seems to be now that I am back home. It was spent up in the mountains in Silverton, Colorado. They have the best fireworks show ever! The booms are 3 times as loud as the echoes are trapped by the mountains that completely surround Silverton. I was on vacation that whole week and it was wonderful. My only problem now is that I really do not want to be back at work and have little motivation with me being so enthused with moving on to bigger and better opportunities.

I also have to point this out, I find out hilarious that I am seeing on yahoo everyday daily updates from the Tour de France on their home page. Correct me if I am wrong but this is the first year that I have seen this, without having to go to the home page and then on to the sports page. Even at that they are giving in depth reports about a variety of topics. I have to remind myself that I am not reading cyclingnews or something. It's pretty humorous because I am pretty certain that every American in the Tour this year has been in the Tour for the last 5 years and most more than that. It wasn't receiving this recognition through the "Lance Years". So I have to assume all this has come about from the mess of last year with Floyd Landis, especially since it is still ongoing.

I am going to have to dig out alot of old pictures and make an ode to the Perna...I already miss it. Shout to Shawn as he is a batchelor at the moment and to Mary as I hope that she enjoyed her vacation.

One last picture before I whisked her away to a new home.
